Dividend per share

TermUpdated 12 Sept 2026

Indicated DPS is the screener's last quoted rate. TTM DPS is cash from SGX corporate actions in the last 365 Singapore days.

Formula · ttm_dps

TTM DPS = sum of cash amounts with ex-date in the last 365 Singapore days

Two DPS figures

Indicated DPS on the quote is stocks.dividend_per_share from the last SGX screener snapshot. TTM DPS is the sum of corporate-action cash amounts whose ex-date sits in the last 365 Singapore calendar days. The dividend calculator prefers TTM, then indicated, then last price times yield. It never invents a stub rate.

When they disagree

A special dividend inflates TTM and then rolls off. A cut shows up in TTM only after the old prints leave the window. An S-REIT pays DPU, not company DPS. We still store the corporate-action cash SGX labelled as a dividend on that counter.

What it is not

DPS is not yield. Yield needs a price. It is not a forecast of the next declaration. Upcoming on the stock page is the next known ex-date and amount from the same corporate-action feed, when one exists.
