Frequently Asked Questions
How is the SATS dividend yield on this page calculated?
SATS shows a yield of 1.78% and indicated DPS of S$0.0701. That yield is the SGX screener figure, stored as a percent. Trailing cash from SGX corporate actions is listed separately as TTM DPS. Neither figure is a forecast of the next dividend.
What is the SATS payout ratio?
SATS pays out 35.82% of EPS on a trailing DPS / EPS basis. We skip the ratio when EPS is missing or not positive. It is a coverage figure, not a promise of the next dividend.
What does the SATS P/E ratio mean?
SATS has a P/E of 20.90 from the last SGX screener snapshot. P/B on the same snapshot is 2.12. That is not a verdict on cheap or expensive.
What is the 52-week range for SATS?
SATS has a stored 52-week range of S$3.170 to S$4.960 from SGX history. That is the extreme of last prices we keep, not a forecast.
