Frequently Asked Questions
How is the Singtel dividend yield on this page calculated?
Singtel shows a yield of 2.96% and indicated DPS of S$0.1338. That yield is the SGX screener figure, stored as a percent. Trailing cash from SGX corporate actions is listed separately as TTM DPS. Neither figure is a forecast of the next dividend.
What is the Singtel payout ratio?
Singtel pays out 110.84% of EPS on a trailing DPS / EPS basis. We skip the ratio when EPS is missing or not positive. It is a coverage figure, not a promise of the next dividend.
What does the Singtel P/E ratio mean?
Singtel has a P/E of 13.44 from the last SGX screener snapshot. P/B on the same snapshot is 2.58. That is not a verdict on cheap or expensive.
What is the 52-week range for Singtel?
Singtel has a stored 52-week range of S$4.060 to S$5.270 from SGX history. That is the extreme of last prices we keep, not a forecast.
